dining out: the right way

Just because you’re dining out, doesn’t mean you have to eat unhealthy.

We went out to brunch today with my brother & sister-in-law to one of my favorite restaurants in the city – Parc. What a beautiful day to eat outside!

As much as I would have loved to have the French toast or the chicken sandwich with fries, I stuck with the chicken paillard which was amazing: flattened chicken topped with a shaved vegetable salad. I used to feel like I had to splurge if I was dining out. I would always order a dish that came with French fries. (Fries are my weakness!) Skipping the fries is definitely hard but I know they’re so bad for you. Sigh.

I also had the iced mint latte. Yum! It wasn’t too sugary and the mint flavor was a nice, refreshing touch.
